It is apparent from the pleadings on record that petitioner claims to have submitted a succession certificate for the purposes of availing the benefit of compassionate appointment on account of death of his father in harness while he was working as Constable in Beur Central Jail at Patna on 26.04.2009.

3. This writ application has been filed raising the claim of compassionate appointment in the year 2022.

4. From the record it is obvious that the son of the first wife of the deceased has also submitted a succession

Patna High Court CWJC No.643 of 2022(3) dt.27-09-2023 2/2 certificate.

5. In view of these disputed position and rival claims between the legal heirs of the dependents at this belated stage, this court does not consider it an appropriate case, where any direction can be issued against the respondents in favour of the petitioner.

6. The petition is dismissed.
