Since both the cases have arisen out of one occurrence, they are being disposed of by this common order.

The petitioners seek bail in Meenapur P.S. Case No. 475 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 364 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10283 of 2015 (3) dt.11-05-2015 2/2 The informant named Bablu Kumar and alleged that he along with others kidnapped her son Amit Kumar aged about 4 years. During the course of the investigation, Bablu Kumar, Janjeer and Vicky were apprehended. Bablu Kumar confessed his guilt and disclosed that he handed over the child to Chandan Kumar Rai @ Chandan Kumar and Dharmendra Kumar Mahto, the petitioners who took the boy to the house of Bharat Singh and Veena Devi. On the basis of confession made by Chandan Kumar Rai @ Chandan Kumar the victim boy was recovered from the house of Veena Devi, W/O Bharat Singh. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were not knowing about the fact that the victim was kidnapped.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioners are alleged to have kidnapped the victim for ransom and kept the boy in the house of Veena Devi and Bharat Singh, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
