Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Section 8/21(a) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

As per prosecution case, on receiving information, a raid was conducted and co-accused persons, namely, Mukesh Yadav and Aman Tiwari were apprehended with narcotic substances. It is alleged that this petitioner was seen fleeing away from the place of occurrence.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a very innocent man and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner has been made accused only on the basis of confessional statement of co-

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that huge quantity of narcotic substances has been recovered and name of the petitioner transpired in confessional statement of co-accused persons.
