3. By filing this writ application, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the Additional Director General of Police, Economic Offences Unit, Bihar to take over and investigate Kadamkuan P.S. Case No. 383 of 2021 dated 12.08.2021 registered under Sections 420 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the nature of reliefs prayed in this writ application, this Court would direct the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna (respondent no.4) to take a review of the matter, supervise the case personally, see the progress in course of investigation so far and in case he is of the opinion that the matter is required to be investigated by the Economic Offences Unit or assistance of any other expertise body is required, he will take an appropriate view of the matter and consequential action in this regard. In any case, he must supervise the investigation of the case to ensure that proper investigation takes place in the matter.

5. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna (respondent no.4).
