Learned State counsel accepts notice for respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner is hereby directed to furnish a copy of the petition to learned counsel for the State if it has not already furnished.

In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):- "(i) To issue appropriate direction, order or writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner against the contractual post of Special Survey Ameen under Economically Weaker Section category pursuant to AdvertisementNo. 1/2019 issued by

Patna High Court CWJC No.6110 of 2021 dt.07-02-2022 2/2 the Director, Land Records and Measurement,Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Bihar, Patna. ii) To grant other relief or reliefs to which the petitioner is entitled for." The matter relates to selection and appointment to the post of Special Survey Ameen. The petitioner is stated to have filed his objection to the select list and it is not considered by the selecting authority.

Therefore, the selecting authority is hereby directed to examine the petitioner's objection. If the petitioner is otherwise eligible his name shall be considered and reflected in the final select list of Special Survey Ameen to be published. If it is impermissible in that event necessary speaking order shall be passed as to why the petitioner's name cannot be included in the final select list. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
