2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 377/14 instituted under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 342, 379, 385, 387, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act lodged on 22.11.2014 by the informant, Ram Bahadur Choudhary.

3. As per the prosecution story, the allegation by the informant is that when he was ploughing his field, the accused persons came armed variously and asked ransom and when objection was made, they resorted to firing as also assaulted them. Accordingly, the FIR.

4. The FIR is of the year 2014. Even, as per the learned counsel for the petitioner though final form was submitted, the cognizance was taken in the year 2019. Five
