The petitioner seeks a direction to the concerned authorities of J.P.University to hold enquiry into the alleged misappropriation of public funds which runs into crores and relates to the financial year 2013-14.

The allegation of the petitioner is that such misappropriation has been caused by the then Principal,

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation in this regard is pending consideration before the Registrar, J.P.University, a copy of which is enclosed at Annexure 2 to the writ petition, which also contains the details of alleged misappropriation. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the nature of the grievance so raised, we deem it proper to direct the Registrar, J.P.University to consider the representation filed by the petitioner and since it deals with public money he shall take necessary steps for its disposal in accordance with law after opportunity of hearing to respondent no.8, the then Principal of the College and in case he is of the opinion that the allegation made by the petitioner holds substance, he shall take all consequential steps which may be required to take such misappropriation to its conclusion within three months of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

With the observations above, the writ petition is disposed of.
