Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner is in jail custody since 07.12.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 325, 379, 384, 307, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 (i) (x) of S.C./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Petitioner is named in the first information report but there is no specific allegation of either demanding extortion money or assaulting the informant.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5395 of 2015 (2) dt.11-02-2015 bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri U. K. Pandey, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jamui in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 257 of 2014.
