=========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 22-02-2017 The present contempt petition was filed alleging disobedience of an interim order passed by this Court on 17th of December, 1996 in C.W.J.C. No. 12624 of 1996. The said writ application has finally been allowed on 10th of December, 2008, when Annexure-1 and 2 were quashed and liberty was given to the Waqf Board to take appropriate decision.

The interim order stands merged with the final order,

Patna High Court MJC No.934 of 1997 dt.22-02-2017 2/2 the present contempt petition, arising out of an interim order, does not survive. It is not alleged that the final order has not been given effect to.

The Contempt Petition is, thus, disposed of as infructuous.
