The petitioner, who has been serving as ANM (Staff Nurse) in Pandarak Primary Health Centre, Barh, Patna, has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the concerned respondent(s) to consider her prayer for transfer from P.H.C. Barh, Patna to any P.H.C. at Danapur or Phulwarisarif on account of illness of her mother-in-law, who is suffering with heart ailment.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that after unfortunate demise of the husband of the petitioner, she is the only person, who has been looking after her mother-in-law

Patna High Court CWJC No.2291 of 2025(2) dt.18-02-2025 2/3 since long; but due to severe heart ailment, she is unable to take care of her mother-in-law, who requires intensive care and regular check up. For the said purpose, the petitioner had approached the competent authority but till date nothing has been done.

4. Learned counsel for the State at the threshold opposed the prayer of the petitioner and contended that the petitioner has already been working at P.H.C. Barh, which is within the district of Patna and no rules and regulations have been brought before this Court, in pursuant to which, the petitioner sought her transfer.

5. Considering the prayer of the petitioner as also the fact that the petitioner has already filed an application seeking her transfer on and at appropriate P.H.C., the ends of justice would be served, if the representation of the petitioner be considered and disposed off.

6. The petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation along with the supporting documents, including the medical prescriptions, before the respondent no.3, the Civil Surgeon, Sadar Hospital, Gardanibag, Patna, preferably within a period of four weeks' from today.

7. In case, such a representation is filed, the same

Patna High Court CWJC No.2291 of 2025(2) dt.18-02-2025 3/3 shall be considered and disposed off within a reasonable period, in accordance with law.

8. The writ petition stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
