JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 29-01-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 236 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation of demand of dowry and torture against the petitioner is baseless. He submits that the petitioner is in custody since 09.05.2018. He submits that it is difficult for the petitioner to keep his wife at the work place, however, he admits that the petitioner is ready to maintain his wife with full honour and dignity.

Considering the statement made at the bar to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4818 of 2019(2) dt.29-01-2019 2/2 effect that the petitioner would maintain his wife with full honour and dignity, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 236 of 2018. However, the court below is directed to refer the matter to the Mediation Centre so that the dispute between the husband and wife may be finally resolved.
