JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 21-10-2024 In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- "For issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) for making settlement informant of petitioner in Bhu-Abhilekh No.7/9697 which is pending before the Additional Collector Cum Settlement Officer, Gopalganj for which letter no.2750 dated 3.12.2010 has already been issued to Circle Officer, Kateya to submit enquiry report."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Bhu-Bandobasti Abhilekh No.7/96-97 is pending before the Additional Collector Cum Settlement Officer, Gopalganj for

Patna High Court CWJC No.9410 of 2018(2) dt.21-10-2024 2/2 settlement of land of 17 decimal out of 2 acre 89 decimal of plot No.313, Khata no.74 and since the date of filing no order has been passed by the concerned authority uptill now.

3. Learned counsel for the State also conceded that no order has been passed on the Bhu-Bandobasti Abhilekh No.7/96-97.

4. In the light of aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the concerned authority is directed to pass appropriate order expeditiously as per law after hearing the party within a reasonable period.

5. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.
