JUSTICE BIRENDRA PRASAD VERMA ORAL ORDER 04-08-2016 Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the petitioner in support of the present writ petition, though the names of the learned counsel appearing on his behalf are printed in the daily cause list.

The learned AC to GP 3, appearing on behalf of the respondent nos. 1 and 2, submits that the order impugned is appealable and revisable, but without exhausting the alternative remedy of appeal and revision, the petitioner has straight away approached this Court in the present proceeding filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India; therefore, according to him, on that ground alone the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. Be that as it may, since none is appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
