At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to make certain correction in the prayer portion of the bail petition.
Let the same be done during the course of the day. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Maharajganj P.S. Case No. 121 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273, 308 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
The case of the prosecution is that upon the Police having raided the Dalan of the accused persons, 241.5 litres of illicit liquor was recovered.

No.3083 of 2019(2) dt.23-01-2019 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the co-accused person has already been granted anticipatory bail, however, the petitioner was arrested in the meantime, hence the petitioner could not avail the privilege of anticipatory bail. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 23.11.2018.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge-2nd-cumSpecial Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with Maharajganj P.S. Case No. 121 of 2018.
