The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation in the FIR, the daughter of the informant was married to the son of the petitioner. It is stated that the informant received information on telephone from his son-in-law about his daughter being unwell. On reaching their house it transpired that she had been killed by the accused persons and her dead body disposed of.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case which has been lodged six days after the alleged occurrence without

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the petitioner who is the father-in-law of the deceased being in custody for more than 9 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Chandi P.S. Case no. 176 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate/ successor Court, Hilsa, Nalanda.
