Petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 47/57 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Forty-one liters of country made spirit was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Submission is that petitioner is in custody since 13.08.2016. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.
