The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, three unknown accused persons fired from pistol hitting the informant in his elbow. It is stated that the same was done at the instance of one Arun Singh who is in jail.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R.. His named transpired in course of investigation in the confessional statement of the coaccused Julfekar Ali. The said Julfekar Ali

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12363 of 2021(3) dt.02-08-2021 2/2 has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 16.4.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 7997 of 2021. The petitioner is in custody since 24.9.2020 and investigation in the case has concluded. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 10 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 690 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj.
