The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 219C-2 of 2019, for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 06.12.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 18.375 litres of foreign liquor was seized.
