The petitioner has prayed for grant of bail in connection with Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No. 485 of 2023 registered under sections 304B of the Indian Penal Code. It is a case of dowry death of the informant's sister due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased due to which she has falsely been implicated in this case. No any specific overt act of commission of murder against the petitioner. It is further submitted that the husband of the deceased is already languishing in judicial custody. Moreover, she is languishing in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7312 of 2024(2) dt.17-02-2024 2/2 judicial custody since 29.09.2023.

The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of this case as well as the custody of the petitioner and her age i.e. 70 years, the Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No. 485 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. 1st Class, Patna.
