2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 109, 110, 114, 115, 182, 194, 195, 201, 202, 203, 111, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per F.I.R., all the named accused persons committed murder of one Abhilasha Kumari and suppressed evidence of murder by deleting footage of CCTV camera. This petitioner is alleged to have assisted co-accused Rajkumar Rai in cremation of the deceased and disappearance of evidence.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is co-villager of co-accused Rajkumar Rai and he is only alleged to have assisted co-accused Rajkumar Rai and others in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1019 of 2026(2) dt.21-01-2026 2/2 disappearance of the evidence. There is no allegation that this petitioner participated in commission of the murder. It is further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 15.01.2026 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 90257 of 2025. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering backdrop of the case, nature of accusation and clean antecedent, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bailbond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi/Court concerned in connection with Dumra P. S. Case No. 271 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
