It is submitted on behalf of the State that the counter affidavit shows that some benefits have been granted and with respect to others, the respondents have taken a definite stand regarding the same either being under consideration or that the petitioner is not entitled to some of the benefits such as the salary for certain periods when he was not on duty.
Since none is appearing on behalf of the petitioner, this Court will not go into the merit of this application. The writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
