Earlier the bail application of petitioner was rejected vide order dated 05.07.2021. Vide order dated 19.01.2022, report was called for regarding the stage of trial and same has been received (kept at flag 'A'), which reveals that charge has already been framed on 11.02.2021. Out of 10 prosecution witnesses, one witness has been examined.

Considering the nature of accusation and stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, as the petitioner is in custody since 23.05.2020, trial court is directed to expedite the trial. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) vinita/- U T
