2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 527 of 2024, registered under Sections 8(c), 21(a) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act (N.D.P.S. Act).

3. There is recovery of 6 grams of smack like substance from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. No incriminating material has been recovered from the petitioner. The petitioner has two criminal antecedents and in both cases he is on bail. Petitioner is in custody since 09.10.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4154 of 2025(3) dt.19-04-2025 2/2 for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also period of custody, this bail application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge /concerned court in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 527 of 2024, subject to the condition that:

(i) The petitioner will mark his attendance at Araria Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the local Police Station will result into cancellation of his bail bond.
