2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Desari (Chandpura) P.S. Case No. 259 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have been involved in the robbery of cash (approximately Rs. 1,96,000/-) from the informant and his associate on 03.11.2017

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 03.06.2021.

5. Per contra, learned counsel for the State vehemently opposes the bail application and submits that the allegations against the petitioner are serious and grave in nature.

6. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner as well as his criminal antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected. If the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
