The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Total 339.750 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the house of co-accused Vijay Sah. It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner has been made accused in this case only on suspicion. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Considering the facts aforesaid and clean antecedent, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2314 of 2023(2) dt.28-03-2023 2/2 date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 1, Sitamarhi in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 345 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
