The petitioner is languishing in custody since 28.05.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 386, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

It is alleged that petitioner, Bhim, Karu and Rajeev @ Lambu demanded extortion of Rs.20,000, realized Rs.10,000/- and resorted to firing, but no injury was caused. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is accused in one other case in which he is on bail.
