The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.784 of 2019 arising out of Alamganj P.S. Case No. 767 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
By order dated 26.06.2020, a report has been called for regarding the stage of the trial in Sessions Trial No.784 of 2019 arising out of Alamganj P.S. Case No.767 of 2018 from the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Patna City, Patna. The report, which is kept at flag 'P', is submitted by the Additional District and Sessions Judge-V, Patna City, Patna stating therein that only 3 witnesses have been examined except the I.O. and Medical Officer. In the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Therefore, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected in connection with Sessions Trial No.784 of 2019 arising out of Alamganj P.S. Case No.767 of 2018 pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Patna City, Patna. However, the court below is directed to conclude the trial within six months from the date of production of a copy of this order.
