JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-05-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 23, 353, 337, 338, 427, 504 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that a mob of 50 to 60 people led by this petitioner attacked the police personnel and damaged the hydra crane by pelting stones and they also tried to burn it. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations leveled against the petitioner are false and no specific allegation or any overt act made against him. Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the specific allegation against the petitioner is that he is the leader of the mob and from perusal of the case record, it is clear that the allegations leveled against the

Considering the accusation and the fact that the petitioner is the leader of mob and on his direction police personnel received injury, prayer for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner is rejected.
