15-09-2017 Heard Sri Uma Shankar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 01-07-2017 in Aurangabad (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 108 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 30(a) and 38 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail. It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is having clean antecedent, however; he has not disputed the fact that petitioner was driver and owner of the vehicle, from which, huge quantity of country-made liquor was recovered.

Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent as well as period of custody, let the petitioner namely Bintesh Singh be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of
