JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 09-10-2023 Once again, this application has been filed under Article 226 directly for a direction to the respondents to lodge a first information report. The petitioner has not followed the procedures laid down by the judicial pronouncements and no application under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. seems to have been filed.

2. In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Sakiri Vasu versus the State of U.P. and Others reported in (2008) 2 SCC 409, this Court would not encourage filing of a writ application directly for lodging of the FIR.

3. This writ application is, thus, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek her remedy before appropriate court/forum as may be advised to her in accordance with law.
