====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 664 of 2018. His application for bail was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 22.05.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 33634 of 2019 with observation that if the trial is not concluded within four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. It is stated that immediately after the order was passed on 22.05.2019, it was received in the case record of the court below. Since then more than eight months have passed, but the trial has not been concluded.

Regard being had to the detention of the petitioner in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1117 of 2020(2) dt.22-01-2020 2/2 custody as an under-trial prisoner since 08.10.2018 and the observation given by this Court in its previous order dated 22.05.2019, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Sherghati, (Gaya) in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 664 of 2018.
