JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 26-11-2024 In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- That the present writ application has been filed for issuance of a writ or order or direction upon the respondents specially the respondent number 4 to expedite and dispose of within a timeframe the application filed by the petitioner on 01.07.2017 followed by reminder dated 26.02.2018 in connection with a request for conversion of the nature/category of land from agricultural to non-agricultural in terms of the provisions of Bihar Agricultural Land ( Conversion of For Non- agriculture Purposes Act), 2010.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has represented before Circle Officer, Bhagwanpur, Vaishali regarding conversion of nature of land from agricultural to non-agricultural in terms of provisions of Bihar Agricultural Land (Conversion of for non-agriculture purposes ) Act, 2010

Patna High Court CWJC No.12529 of 2018 dt.26-11-2024 2/2 which is annexed at annexure-4 of the petition. He further submits that reminder has already been sent but no order has been passed uptill now.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that it is matter of record and the concerned authority may look into the matter.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition stands disposed of with direction to concerned authority to pass appropriate order on the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within two months from the date of receipt of the order.
