The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is stated to have fired from his country made revolver hitting the grand father of the informant in his temple.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations as levelled against the petitioner are false and concocted. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 30.8.2019 and the postmortem report does not support the prosecution case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner of having shot the grand father of the informant in his temple together with the said allegation having been supported from the contents of the postmortem report, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
