The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under sections 30(a), 37(b) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 3.9.2021 (Annexure-1) giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner has remained in custody since 12.12.2020.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2081 of 2022(2) dt.19-01-2022 2/2 the earlier order of rejection dated 3.9.2021 and the period in custody of the petitioner, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Nathnagar P.S. Case no. 768 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Bhagalpur.
