Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 201 and 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the victim of dowry death. Unnatural death of the wife of the petitioner took place in the house of the petitioner within seven years of her marriage and dead body was disposed of without information to the police or parents of the victim. Allegation is of demand of dowry and torture for the same soon before death.

Learned counsel for the informant vehemently

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3670 of 2020(3) dt.17-09-2020 2/2 opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the nature of allegation and available material on the record, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in connection with Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 100 of 2019 pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahna, East Champaran at Dhaka. Prayer for anticipatory bail is refused.

Petitioner is directed to surrender and pray for regular bail.
