The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered under Sections 20(B) & 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

The police raided the house of Khurshid Alam and from there 13.5 Kg. Ganja was recovered. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R.

It is submitted that Khurshid Alam, in his confessional statement, disclosed that the petitioner is his accomplice. The petitioner is in jail since 12.02.2015. It appears that the name of the petitioner figured in the confessional statement of Khurshid Alam from whose house 13.5 Kg. Ganja was recovered but nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11282 of 2015 (2) dt.18-03-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Bhagalpur in Pirpainty P.S. Case No. 20 of 2015 (G.R. No. 244/15).
