2. The petitioner who retired from the post of Head Clerk from the Rajikiya Polytechnic College, West Champaran on 31.03.2020 has filed this writ petition raising the grievance against non-sanctioning of 13 days medical leave which the petitioner had applied for to the competent authority vide application dated 15.06.2018.

3. Learned State counsel has submitted that there is an

Patna High Court CWJC No.860 of 2025(2) dt.23-01-2025 2/2 inordinate delay in filing this writ petition by the petitioner inasmuch as the grievance raised by the petitioner is nonsanctioning of the medical leave as per application dated 15.06.2018.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, I am in agreement with the learned State counsel that there is an inordinate delay in filing the writ petition inasmuch as the grievance raised by the petitioner dates back to 15.06.2018 which is the date the petitioner had submitted an application to the competent authority for grant of 13 days medical leave.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is hereby dismissed on the ground of delay and laches.
