2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 260/2023 arising out of Chowk P.S. Case No. 282 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 307, 120(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is one of the contract killers who was hired for killing the informant but they could not succeed.

4. It has been argued by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case and is in custody since 04.11.2022.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5763 of 2024(2) dt.17-02-2024 2/2 opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail by contending that the petitioner is involved in the present case and one of the contract killers namely Shubham Kumar was caught red handed with the weapons and other criminals fled away.

6. The petitioner is involved in five more serious cases and in the opinion of this Court these kind of criminals should remain behind the bars.

7. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

9. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases registered against the petitioner.
