Mr.APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 23-12-2021 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Hussainganj P.S. Case No. 271 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a), 41 (i) and 44(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.. The accusation against the petitioner and his wife is of selling liquor in an unauthorized manner. On such information, the house of the petitioner was raided and 31.5 litres of liquor was recovered from a vehicle parked in the house and 1118.800 litres of liquor from the house. The son of the petitioner has been arrested.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12251 of 2021(2) dt.23-12-2021 2/2 Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and the recovery of such huge quantity of liquor from his house, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
