2. The petitioner seeks bail, who is in custody since 18.08.2022 in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 596 of 2022, F.I.R. dated 17.08.2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420,406,467,468,209,93,471,34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by a Coordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 02.08.2024 passed in Cr.Misc.No.26641/2024.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 18.08.2022 and the trial is not in progress.

5. Vide order dated 07.04.2026, a report was called for with regard to the stage of the trial. Report of the learned Trial Court dated 15.04.2026 reveals that on 06.04.2026 the prosecution evidence has been closed. The statement of the accused persons were recorded under Section 313 of Cr.P.C. on 07.04.2026 and on the same day the defence evidence has also been closed and now the case is pending for the argument.

6. Considering the report of the learned Trial Court, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 596 of 2022 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C.-IV, Nalanda at Biharsharif.

7. Prayer is refused.

8. However, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest. (Rajesh Kumar Verma, J) Nitesh/- U T
