Grievance of the petition in the present writ application is non-consideration of pay-scale of block teacher as the petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground on the post of block teacher.
The idea behind the compassionate appointment is to provide immediate financial assistance to the family of the bread earner who died in harness. If the petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground then the respondents are required to ensure regular payment of salary of the block teacher without any discrimination and if the petitioner is not getting salary of block teacher, necessary order in this regard may be passed by the respondent District Programme Officer
Patna High Court CWJC No.1296 of 2018(2) dt.16-03-2018 2/2 (Establishment), Champaran at Motihari who is required to ensure payment of the salary admissible to the block teacher to this petitioner within a maximum period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
