The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner and Jagdish Mahto are alleged to have assaulted Md. Ekhlaque Ansari, son of the informant, with Gadasa which hit on the shoulder of Ekhlaque Ansari. It is submitted that two persons are alleged to have assaulted with Gadasa but only one injury is found which is opined to be grievous in nature. There is a counter version also lodged by the wife of petitioner against Md. Ekhlaque Ansari and others for committing rape with the daughter of the informant. The petitioner is in jail since 20.01.2015 and the petitioner has already remained in jail for six and half months.
