The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sikta P.S. Case No. 12 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376/511, 420, 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
It is a case of cheque bounce in which it is alleged that this petitioner has issued two cheques of Rs. 4,50,000/- and Rs. 3,00,000/- in favour of the complainant and the same got dishonored.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is ready to pay Rs. 7,50,000/- in six equal installments within a period of six months from today and first installment would be paid at the of filing of bail bond and rest installments
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2180 of 2022(3) dt.08-08-2022 2/2 would be paid within five months thereafter.
In view of the undertaking given by the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 12 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
