The petitioner has filed the present writ application for direction to respondent authorities to pay his dues amount to the tune of Rs. 10,31,680/- along with appropriate interest for work of digitalization of surveyed BPL Family' data collection in the year 2009-2010 in the District of Muzaffarpur.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CWJC No.468 of 2024(9) dt.19-11-2025 2/3 out of the aforesaid amount, approximately about 8 lakh has been paid and a sum of Rs. two lakh thirty thousand has been deducted on the ground that the said amount, after verification of the claim is not admissible and payable to the petitioner. Learned counsel next submits that when the petitioner filed the writ application, the authorities placed the claim of the petitioner before the claims committee and deliberately aforesaid sum of Rs. two lakh and odd amount has been deducted without any basis. However, he submits that he may be given liberty to claim disputed amount before an appropriate Court of Civil Jurisdiction along with damages and interest.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that admitted amount has been paid and so far as disputed amount is concerned, the petitioner may take recourse to other remedies before the Competent Court of Civil Jurisdiction.

5. Having considered the submissions and the nature of fact that the admitted amount has been paid to the petitioner, the writ application has disposed with liberty to the petitioner to seek his remedy before the Court of

6. Accordingly, the present writ application stands disposed of.
