2. The petitioner on being found eligible, was duly appointed to the post of Teacher in Hindi on contract basis vide letter no. 154 dated 09.08.2010 issued under the signature of Director (Secondary Education).

3. Learned Advocate for the petitioner narrating the facts submitted that in absence of sanction post in Post Graduate Teacher Cadre in the language of Hindi, English, Urdu and Sanskrit, the petitioner and the similarly situated teachers are being deprived to be appointed on regular basis. For

Patna High Court CWJC No.1174 of 2024(6) dt.16-09-2025 2/2 ventilating the grievance, the petitioner has approached before the Chairman, Managing Committee - cum - Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, however the matter is pending since long, but, till date, no positive decision has been taken, compelling the petitioner to approach this Court.

4. Learned Advocate for the State and the principal of the school have categorically submitted that the decision with regard to creation/sanction of the post lies with the State Government and till date, no such decision has been taken.

5. Having considered the nature of the grievance, this Court deems it fit and proper to direct the Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar to take into consideration the representation of the petitioner, the copies of which have been placed on record as Annexure P/15, P/17 and P/18 and bring to its logical conclusion by an appropriate decision.

6. With this hope and expectation, the present writ petition stands disposed.
