2. Earlier, the anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 10.02.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 35019 of 2021.

3. No coercive steps were granted to the petitioner vide order dated 24.02.2025, based on his assurance that he would solemnize nikah with the victim after obtaining the order of no coercive steps. The petitioner had taken several adjournments and today, none appeared on his behalf.

4. Sri. Shailendra Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State drew my attention towards the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the CrPC, in which, she has stated that she was preparing for IIT Entrance

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5297 of 2025(7) dt.22-08-2025 2/2 Examination in a hostel. During that course, the petitioner developed relation with her. After administering medicines to her, he forcibly established sexual relations with her.
