ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 16-04-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks Revision of the order dated 17.12.2014 passed by the Additional District & Sessions Judge-V, Banka, in Criminal Appeal No. 99 of 2014 in which he has partly allowed and partly dismissed the Appeal.
It has been submitted that the maximum sentence of the Petitioner for six months in Appeal under Section 428 Indian Penal Code with a fine of Rs.1,000/- in default of which further simple imprisonment for a period of one month and the Petitioner has remained in custody for about three months and he has fair antecedents.
Having considered the Judgment in Appeal, I do not

However, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by him. He shall also deposit a sum of Rs.1,000/- within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of this order, failing which he shall not be released.
