The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that maternal-grand-father of the informant transferred the land in favour of informant but the petitioner got the land mutated in his favour fraudulently. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant is his own brother and father of the petitioner has admitted that the land is joint family property and it was transferred in the name of informant since petitioner was minor at the relevant time. Moreover, with regard to the alleged land, Partition Suit No. 138 of 2013 and Mutation Case No. 5 of 2013 are pending.
