The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No.482 of 2019, registered for the offence under Section 436/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that save and except suspicion that the petitioner has set fire in the house of the informant, there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. He submits that in the present case, as per the F.I.R., the alleged occurrence is said to be of 26.09.2010, but the F.I.R. was lodged on 28.09.2019, for which no plausible explanation of delay has been given. It is submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 13.11.2019.
