JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 06-02-2019 Pursuant to an advertisement No. 1/17 dated 13.08.2017 for the purposes of selection of Anganbari Sevika/Sahayika, the petitioner applied and was declared to be the sole successful candidate.

2. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in the Aam Sabha which was held on 14.06.2018, three candidates had appeared; out of whom, one, on account of kidney trouble could not have been considered. The Aam Sabha, therefore was adjourned for another date. In the final selection, the petitioner was the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1978 of 2019 dt.06-02-2019 2/3 only available suitable candidate and hence she was informed by the C.D.P.O., Koilwar that appointment letter shall be issued to her shortly. Despite seven months having passed by of such oral communication to the petitioner, the appointment letter has not been issued.

3. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that a representation to that effect has been made by the petitioner before the District Programme Officer, Bhojpur at Ara (respondent No. 3) but that also has not been acted upon.

4. Under the circumstances, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation before the District Programme Officer, Bhojpur at Ara (respondent No. 3) within a period of two weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, which would serve as a reminder to the District Programme Officer, necessary sequel orders shall be passed within a period of three weeks thereafter.

5. Needless to state that such a direction would be complied with only if the facts stated by the petitioner are found to be absolutely true.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed off.
